This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the services, and food is the best in Statesboro! I have told so many of my friends about this place because it is so good. They offer options for everyone from kids to vegan! I love the decor too, it is super exquisite!!! 11/10!!!!!
I had the basil fried rice but I subbed the green bell peppers for baby corn. I also love the taste of pan yang curry and the staff was kind enough to give my a pint of the liquid for a nice price. I have never had basil fried rise with corn before and it was honestly the best rice i've had. I loved how the chicken is not big chunks an incorporated in all of the rice. The rice was very cheap and lasted me dinner that night a nibble for breakfast and a meal for lunch and then some. So as you can tell the portions are very large. Wished there was a thai restaurant like this by my house because the drive is soo long. But it is worth it when I am craving basil fried rice, if you haven't tried it, it's a must!
These tasty little morsels are topped with a curry mustard sauce that is mind blowing. It's a nice light app before a bigh curry, rice, or noodle dish.
Best apple pie spring roll I have ever tried really wish the thai place i go to back home tasted as good as this will definitely come every time i come to states borrow!
I get the Pineapple fried rice with an order of spring rolls every time! It is so fresh and delicious. The plum sauce that comes with the rolls is a nice sweet/sour combo. Im not even vegetarian, but getting this is so filling that meat isn't even needed.
So! Dang! Good! Perfect sauce too!
This app is worth the high price. The first time I had it I almost wanted to cancel my entree just to enjoy the lemongrass sauce with rice. It's a big app, so plan to sharr with a couple of your friends!
I have been visiting Coconut Thai since I was and Undergraduate student. I now work as a faculty member at GS University. The atmosphere, service, and flavors of this restaurant are unsurpassed for Thai restaurants in GA. It works both as a fancy up-scale dining option for dates and special occasions, and a quick to-go order from the bar. The Green Curry is my favorite dish and I have tried it with a variety of proteins and substitutions. The sauce is just thick enough to feel substantial and the spices are blended togetger to make a hot tangy almost sweet flavor that is tinged by your chosed proteins and vegetables. Tofu is my favorit because it adds the least flavor to the dish and you can enjoy the full impact of the green curry taste. Pair any dish with the basil roll starter and you have an incredible one-of-a kind meal right in your little town. My family and I live this restaurnant so much we plan trips to Southern Georgia around a lunch or dinner stop in Statesboro first just for a bite of Coconut Thai. Now that I live here I cart up full orders for the family on special occasions.
Their dumplings are absolutely amazing. I tried the them as an appetizer and I had the balsamic glazed flank steak with asparagus and garlic rice for the main course. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! I will be back.
I love the green curry with soft shell crab! Coconut Thai is amazing. I've tried almost everything on the menu and haven't had anything less than perfection. Great appetizers, pineapple rice, and duck also.
